PFW Password - Winter 2007In early 2006, PFW released the Customer Portal module as part of our industry-leading PFW IntelliDealer Dealership Management System. Customer Portal integrates every aspect of IntelliDealer to provide a global view of your customer on one easy-to-navigate dashboard. Now, PFW is building on the success of Customer Portal with the release of the Sales Support Portal module – which takes everything Dealers love about Customer Portal and applies it to the sales process.
One of the best ways to help improve efficiency and effectively manage sales is by having all the information you need in one place – which is exactly what the new Sales Support Portal was designed to do. Specifically, the Sales Support Portal is a customizable, single-screen dashboard that displays a high-level overview of your customers to help manage sales tasks and provide easily accessible details about each customer.
As the name implies, the Sales Support Portal acts as an excellent starting point or portal to the world of information available through PFW IntelliDealer. While it can also be used by management to look at an overview of each member of their sales team, the Sales Support Portal was primarily designed to give you the information you need as a salesperson – from a list of your most profitable customers to a list of scheduled phone calls – and everything in between.
The Numbers You Want
PFW IntelliDealer offers a wide range of robust reporting tools to help you manage and maximize your profitability – and the Sales Support Portal allows you to view several profitability reports all on one easy-to-navigate screen. Apart from showing your top-ten most and least profitable customers; year-to-date profitability summaries for current year, previous year and rolling 12-month time spans; as well as purchasing trends by department, Sales Support Portal also displays all of your customers’ outstanding accounts and invoices. Beyond in-depth financial and profitability data, Sales Support Portal also makes it easy to track pending equipment sales, rental information and customers who have loaners or machines in the shop as well as trade-in inventory.
The Information You Need
Having in-depth data at your disposal is one thing; having the means to put that information to good use is another thing entirely – and Sales Support Portal does just that. Beyond the in-depth reporting mentioned above, Sales Support Portal also includes a variety of powerful customer service-based call scheduling tools to help improve both sales and customer retention.
Sales Support Portal displays the last ten calls you have made, your scheduled calls based on user-defined date criteria, your next five scheduled calls and even the last five calls made by salespeople other than you. Sales Support Portal even displays the next ten quotes to expire by customer name, category and expiry date.
To top it all off, Sales Support Portal also includes customizable web links, a reminder of customer birthdays and even a clickable “
” icon that allows you to drill down and see additional information related to the data presented on screen, making it the perfect starting point for a successful day of sales.
The Perfect Starting Point
Just like PFW IntelliDealer’s Customer Portal, the new Sales Support Portal lets you easily navigate the system and take advantage of the powerful sales tools offered by IntelliDealer.
