LONDON, Ontario – June 19, 2009 – PFW Systems Corporation, creator of the PFW IntelliDealer Dealership Management System, is very excited to offer the Nortel Software Communication System (SCS), a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)-based Unified Communications (UC) system, to heavy equipment Dealers in the United States and Canada.
“Nortel SCS offers a wealth of functionality and flexibility at a cost that is significantly less than traditional phone systems,” says Joshua Van Buskirk, PFW Technology Evangelist, “and the integration with our software is a tremendous added bonus.”
PFW VoIPLink, the software integration component that links Nortel SCS and PFW IntelliDealer, displays a customer’s vital information from PFW IntelliDealer the instant they call in. This gives dealership staff the ability to make information-based decisions in real-time and improve the customer experience.
Improved customer service isn’t the only benefit that Nortel SCS offers. It also provides a full suite of UC features that Dealers can utilize, including presence, integrated voice conferencing, unified messaging, single-number reachability and desktop-based video conferencing. Nortel SCS also integrates seamlessly into Microsoft® Outlook and IBM® Lotus Notes/Sametime® applications.
